We analyse the results in a series of patients treated in our centre. Material and methods Retrospective study of patients operated on for appendiceal peritoneal carcinomatosis from January 2012 to May 2015. Results Twenty-seven consecutive patients were included. Purpose: To evaluate the incidence, predictors and clinical outcome of pancreatic fistulas in patients receiving splenectomy during cytoreductive surgery for advanced or recurrent ovarian cancer. Methods: Data of women who underwent splenectomy during cytoreduction for advanced or recurrent ovarian cancer from December 2012 to May 2018 were retrospectively retrieved from the oncological databases of five institutions. However there is no standardized protocol.The aim of this work was to model this chemotherapy in vitro and to understand the role of hypotonic conditions in this model and its impact on cell death.We determined that the optimal treatment parameters on HCT116 human colon cancer cells, were an exposure of the cells for 30 minutes to 400μM of oxaliplatin under hypotonic conditions (G2.5%) at 37 °C.
